The aim of the online seminar "Perfect X-ray of the horse's head":

The seminar series enables you to deepen your knowledge and skills in X-raying horses. You will learn how to further improve your radiographs and optimise your findings.

"Perfect X-ray of the horse's head ":

Outpatient X-ray diagnostics on the horse's head at the stable? - It is possible!

This online seminar provides you with the necessary tools!

Firstly, you will be introduced to the hemisphere model and its simplified system for finding projections.

All relevant X-ray projections on the horse's head are explained and demonstrated using 3D animated instructional films and sample images.

Numerous example images show the necessary projections and how to make them.

Typical pathologies are shown and their treatment discussed.

Don't miss any more important diagnoses, use your X-ray machine sensibly!

Short vita:
  • Since April 2000, he has been practising with his wife, Dr Isabell Herold, in a joint veterinary practice in Warngau (near Tegernsee)
  • Numerous publications / author of a textbook on equine dentistry
  • Member of the Swiss Association for Equine Medicine (SVPM), the Federal Association of Practising Veterinarians (BpT), the German Veterinary Medical Society (DVG) and the Society for Equine Medicine (GPM).
  • Founding member of the German Society for Veterinary Dentistry (DGT)
  • Extensive further training in Germany and abroad; additional qualifications in "Animal Dentistry" and "Veterinary Supervision of Equestrian Sports Events". He is authorised by the Bavarian State Chamber of Veterinarians to provide further training in these specialist areas and is a certified equine dentist of the Swiss Society of Veterinarians (GST).
  • Specialised in equine dentistry
  • Racecourse veterinarian at the Berlin-Karlshorst trotting track
  • Doctorate at the Federal Institute for Consumer Health Protection and Veterinary Medicine (BgVV) on systems for recording adverse drug reactions.
  • 1996 Licence to practice veterinary medicine
  • Worked as a BTA in Pforzheim; then studied veterinary medicine in Budapest and Berlin
  • A-levels; vocational training as a biological technical assistant (BTA) in Ludwigshafen am Rhein
  • Born in Heidelberg in 1967; grew up in Freiburg, Kinshasa (Congo) and Karlsruhe
