Our X-ray systems are designed so that they do not require any regular maintenance. If you do have a problem, you can contact us at any time. OR Technology has its own support centre [+49 381 36 600 800] with over 20 employees. Here you will receive help asap. Usually, software problems can be solved quickly via remote maintenance. Our field technicians will make an appointment with you asap if something needs to be repaired or replaced on site.

Archiving and long-term storage are the key elements of any modern digital imaging system. The latest as well as the archived data need to be accessible in the short-term and a high level of security against failure are the requirements for such systems.

dicomPACS^® meets these requirements and is a safe investment for the future due to its archive structure (online/offline as archive copy). With this "double" archive, you can manage and store all your data in one spot.

The current images of the image-giving modality are stored on the PACS image server of your network on a so-called RAID system. A hard disk RAID still works even if a single disk is defective.
Additionally, all new data is saved on an extra space as daily backup. Multiple storage guarantees that even data not yet backed up by the daily backup is redundant. Older images and documents are stored on inexpensive mass storage devices in the network. In this way, the entire archive can be kept online.

The daily backup with the dicomPACS^® backup module can be carried out either on a hard disk, DVD, a streamer or a network storage. Storage on optical or magneto-optical storage media ensures the minimum long-term archiving of ten years legally required in the X-ray Ordinance.

Speed is key
Images of the last months stored on the server are available at any workstation within seconds due to modern hard drives, RAID system and fast network connection. Older images are saved several times on local PCs with conventional hard disks, the so-called PC farm. Loading times from this area of the archive are only slightly slower than from the image server. Even in the event of a failure of a PC farm computer, working is still possible without any problems and without additional downtime due to the standard double storage.

We offer you a very convenient solution for this with our ORCA^® Cloud. At the touch of a button, you can professionally create a virtual patient CD for your patients from dicomPACS^®. Patients get a printed paper with all access data and QR code to take home, which they can pass on to the attending physician, etc.

The heart of every X-ray system is the software developed by OR Technology with integrated X-ray helper.

The software takes over the complete control of X-ray generators and X-ray systems from different manufacturers and thus enables an orderly and optimal workflow. A simple and user-friendly user interface via touch screen or mouse control completes the system.

The professional dicomPACS^® DX-R image processing, which can be adapted to special user requirements, impresses with its outstanding image quality. High-performance image processing allows organ-specific optimisation and thus guarantees X-ray images of the highest quality.

The software service policy for your practice includes telephone support and remote maintenance as well as an emergency service for holidays and weekends. In addition, this contract offers free programme upgrades for purchased software modules. This means you can always keep your software up to date. You also benefit from all further developments and new or improved functions.

We warmly recommend this maintenance contract to all customers for very manageable monthly costs.

OR Technology offers a special exchange service for X-ray detectors so that you can resume your work immediately in the event of a malfunction. This includes the free loan of a comparable replacement detector for the period of repair of the detector for which the service package was ordered. This service applies regardless of whether the detector is still under warranty or not.
